Yellow mombin
Spondias mombin
Yellow mombin is a fast-growing tropical fruit tree that requires warm, frost-free conditions and plenty of direct sunlight to thrive. Water regularly during the growing season but reduce irrigation during cooler months to mimic its natural dry-season dormancy. It is best grown outdoors in USDA zones 10-12 or in large containers that can be moved indoors during cold weather.
