Yellow-wort is a charming annual or short-lived perennial wildflower that thrives in well-drained, chalky or limestone soils in full sun to partial shade. It produces bright yellow flowers that attract bees and butterflies, making it a lovely addition to a wildflower meadow or rock garden. Once established it is low-maintenance; simply avoid rich or waterlogged soils and let it self-seed naturally.
