Yucca baccata var. baccata

Yucca baccata var. baccata, commonly known as Banana Yucca, is an exceptionally tough desert perennial that thrives in well-drained, sandy or rocky soils with minimal irrigation. Place it in a sunny or lightly shaded spot and water infrequently, allowing the soil to dry fully between waterings. Its bold rosette of stiff, blue-green leaves and edible fruit make it both an ornamental statement plant and a plant of historical significance to Native American cultures.
