Zostera capricorni is a marine seagrass native to coastal estuaries and shallow bays of eastern Australia and New Zealand, making it entirely unsuitable for typical home or garden cultivation. It requires permanent saltwater submersion and is best appreciated in its natural habitat or in specialist marine aquarium systems.
