Baccharis pilularis subsp. pilularis

Prostrate coyote brush is a tough, low-growing California native groundcover shrub that thrives in coastal and inland settings with minimal care once established. It tolerates poor soils, coastal winds, and periods of drought, making it an excellent low-maintenance choice for erosion control and wildlife habitat. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade and water infrequently once roots are established.
