Beach strawberry

Beach strawberry is a low-growing, mat-forming groundcover native to Pacific coastal regions, producing small white flowers and modest fruit while spreading by runners. It prefers part shade to full sun with consistent moisture and well-draining, sandy or loamy soil. Use it as a drought-tolerant groundcover in coastal or native gardens, and divide clumps every few years to keep growth vigorous.
