Cobweb house-leek
Sempervivum arachnoideum
Cobweb house-leek is a delightful alpine succulent recognised by its rosettes covered in fine white cobweb-like threads, making it an eye-catching addition to rock gardens, troughs, or sunny windowsills. It thrives in well-drained to gritty soil and requires very little water, making it ideal for beginner gardeners or drought-prone situations. In summer it sends up attractive pink to red star-shaped flowers and readily produces offsets to form spreading mats.
