Houseleek
Sempervivum tectorum
Houseleek is an incredibly tough succulent that thrives in full sun with very little water, making it perfect for rock gardens, green roofs, or sunny windowsills. Water only when the soil has completely dried out, as overwatering is the primary cause of failure. It spreads slowly by producing offsets called 'hens and chicks' and requires minimal fertilizing.
