Ephedra nevadensis

Nevada Ephedra (Mormon Tea) is a leafless, jointed desert shrub native to the arid regions of the American Southwest, well suited to hot, dry, and sunny conditions. It requires excellent drainage and very infrequent watering, making it an excellent choice for xeriscaping or a desert-themed garden. This plant has a long history of traditional medicinal use and provides structure and wildlife interest year-round.
