Grass pink (Deptford pink) is a charming, slender wildflower bearing clusters of small, bright pink blooms that attract butterflies and bees from early to midsummer. It thrives in well-drained, lean soils in full sun to partial shade and requires very little supplemental watering once established. This low-maintenance plant is a wonderful choice for naturalized meadow plantings, borders, or rock gardens where it will self-seed gently.
