Marsh-elder

Marsh-elder is a robust native shrub naturally found along salt marshes, tidal flats, and coastal wetlands of the eastern United States. It excels in wet, saline, or brackish conditions where few other plants survive, making it an excellent choice for coastal restoration or rain garden edges. Once established it is very low maintenance and provides valuable habitat for birds and native bees.
