New Mexico Locust is a tough, fast-growing shrub or small tree that thrives in full sun to part shade and tolerates poor, rocky soils. Water deeply but infrequently once established, as it is quite adaptable to dry conditions in western landscapes. It produces beautiful fragrant pink flowers in spring that attract pollinators and hummingbirds.
