Round-leaf sundew
Drosera rotundifolia
Round-leaf sundew is a carnivorous plant that requires nutrient-poor, acidic growing media such as pure sphagnum moss, and must only ever be watered with distilled or rainwater — tap water will kill it. Place it in a sunny spot receiving at least 6 hours of direct light per day and keep it sitting in a shallow tray of distilled water to maintain the bog-like conditions it needs. Never feed it with fertilizer; it gets its nutrients by trapping and digesting insects.
