Shrubby lespedeza

Shrubby lespedeza is a fast-growing, deciduous shrub that produces an abundance of rosy-purple flowers in late summer, providing important late-season forage for pollinators and seeds for birds. It thrives in well-drained soils with full sun to partial shade and requires very little care once established. Be aware that in some regions of the eastern United States it can spread aggressively, so check local guidelines before planting.
