Spanish lemon thyme is a compact, aromatic subshrub native to Spain and Morocco that thrives in well-drained, sandy or rocky soils with plenty of sunshine. It is highly drought tolerant once established and requires very little watering or fertilisation, making it ideal for Mediterranean-style or xeriscape gardens. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain a tidy, bushy habit and encourage fresh aromatic growth.
