Turk's-cap

Monkshood (Aconitum napellus) produces striking deep-blue to violet spires in late summer and thrives in cool, moist, partially shaded garden beds. Keep soil consistently moist and enriched with organic matter, and divide clumps every few years to maintain vigorous flowering. Handle this plant with gloves at all times, as all parts are highly toxic if ingested or if sap contacts broken skin.
