Woolly burdock

Woolly burdock is a robust biennial or short-lived perennial that grows vigorously in average garden soil with moderate watering and full sun to partial shade. Its large, woolly leaves and thistle-like purple flower heads are excellent for attracting bees, butterflies, and seed-eating birds to the garden.
