Chilopsis linearis subsp. linearis

Desert willow is a fast-growing, drought-tolerant small tree or large shrub prized for its showy, orchid-like pink to lavender blooms throughout summer. Plant in full sun with excellent drainage and water deeply but infrequently; once established it is highly tolerant of dry conditions. It is an outstanding choice for hot, arid landscapes and attracts hummingbirds and pollinators throughout the blooming season.
