Also known as Armeria, Sea pink, Sea thrift, Armeria elongata var. alpina
Flowering Plants · Native Plants · Alpine Plant · Rock Garden · Thrift · Armeria · Drought Tolerant · Compact Perennial · Pink Flowers · Border Plant · Low Maintenance
Alpine thrift is a charming, compact perennial ideal for rock gardens, borders, and alpine troughs, thriving in full sun with excellent drainage. It is very drought tolerant once established and requires minimal watering; consistently wet or heavy soils will cause root rot. Trim back lightly after flowering to maintain a tidy mounded shape and encourage repeat blooming.
