Armeria maritima subsp. maritima

Sea thrift is a compact, easy-care perennial that produces cheerful pink pompom flowers on slender stems above grass-like evergreen foliage. It thrives in well-drained to sandy soils with full sun and is highly tolerant of coastal salt spray and moderate drought once established. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage a second flush of flowers and divide clumps every few years to maintain vigor.
