Wild garlic, also known as ramsons, is an easy-care spring bulb that naturalizes readily under deciduous trees in moist, humus-rich soil. Plant bulbs in autumn in a partly shaded spot and allow the foliage to die back naturally each summer. Both the garlic-scented leaves and white spring flowers are edible and make a wonderful addition to woodland gardens.
