Lax-flowered orchid
Anacamptis laxiflora
The lax-flowered orchid is a challenging terrestrial orchid that requires very specific growing conditions, including well-draining, alkaline meadow soil and consistent moisture during the growing season. It thrives in open, sunny to partly shaded positions and does not tolerate disturbance or transplanting well. Best suited to experienced orchid growers who can replicate its native wet meadow habitat.
