Red-berry elder

Red-berry elder is a fast-growing deciduous shrub that thrives in part shade with moist, well-draining soil and is an excellent choice for wildlife gardens due to its attractive flower clusters and bright red berries. It requires minimal care once established but benefits from occasional pruning to maintain shape and encourage vigorous new growth. Note that the raw berries are toxic if ingested and should be kept away from children and pets.
