This rare interior prairie subspecies of sea thrift is native to Saskatchewan and is well-suited to cool temperate gardens with well-drained soils. Water regularly but sparingly, as it prefers conditions that mimic its open prairie origins. It produces the signature globe-shaped pink flower heads of the Armeria genus and is an excellent low-maintenance choice for naturalistic or native prairie-style plantings.
